These make great side strobing emergency lights for the back left and right windows of an SUV. I’d buy two, one for each side because the cable is not long enough to run under the rear mate of most mid/full sized SUV’s and you cannot run one individual light at a time as you would for directional traffic control. Positioned correctly (right up against the glass) these provide excellent visibility at over 1/4 mile and the multiple patterns give you a nice array of choices depending on your purpose. The suction cups are…suction cups. Use some clear gorilla tape in the center of the cup and they seem to adhere well to glass. All in all, great product for the price!
